How many licenses do I need?

Advanced Link Manager is licensed per user. That means you need one license for each person using the Advanced Link Manager product. With a licensed version of Advanced Link Manager, you can create an unlimited number of reports and you can distribute them to an unlimited number of users.

Would additional licenses be required if multiple instances of the software are used within our organisation?

Yes, additional licenses would be required. Each license permits only the deployment of a single instance of the software in a commercial environment. If more than one person uses Advanced Link Manager within your organisation, then you need to purchase a license for each user.

Can I install the software on multiple computers if I am the only one using it?

Yes, you can install Advanced Link Manager on multiple computers (workstation, laptop) as long as you are the only person using it on these computers and you don't launch more than one application on different computers at the same time.

Do I need a new license key when I update to a new version?

No. All you need to do is enter the original license key that you received with your purchase confirmation email.

Will I loose any of my data when installing a new version?

No. When you install a new version (while your maintenance plan is still valid) the application will retain your current license and the data gathered so far.

What happens if I install a new version after my maintenance plan has expired?

The new version will install just fine but will give you an error message when you first launch it, saying that your maintenance plan has expired and that you cannot run the new version.

You now have two options:

• extend your maintenance plan
• download and install the latest version released while your maintenance plan was still valid (contact us to find the location of the old version)

Are updates free for the first year or do I need to purchase the program again to get the update?

Advanced Link Manager comes with a 12 months maintenance plan, which entitles you to free product upgrades, free search engine updates, and free technical support for 12 months since the date of purchase.

Is it possible to extend my trial version?

Yes, you can extend your trial version for 15 more days after the original 30 days. All you have to do is contact our Support Team by email. Please describe in this email the reason why you wish to extend your trial.
