Hello,
today I launched Advanced Link Manager and I got a database error (see attached screenshot), when I click OK I get several other errors and then the application display the Project Manager but hangs up and I have to force the quit.
I am on MacOS 10.6.3 and I can delete all my projects if that can help, I wanted anyway to start over with a clean installation but if you could tell me how to solve this issue without to have to re-install everything from scratch would be great.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Thanks.
Fab.

Re: Advanced Link Manager stuck on Project database
Hi Fabrizio,
Before the application tries to convert the projects to the last version, 7.3, it creates backups for them and you should have them here: /Users/youusername/Documents/Link Manager User Data/backup/oldversion/. Send us the archive for the projects I told you by email to try to open them here.
Also, if you want to run the application with a fresh new data folder, you can just rename (do not remove it) the "Link Manager User Data" folder. When you will run the application again a new data folder will be created, only with the news project in it. Then you can copy the projects one by one from the "Link Manager User Data" folder you renamed. This folder contains a "data" folder, where each project is stored in a different folder. Just copy the project folders from there into the new created folder, on the same "data" folder and see how it goes. If the problem persists, please send me the backups for these projects to see what happens.
Let me know how it goes.
Best regards,
Robert
