Hello Quentin,

You can see the description of that column, by hovering your mouse over the column header. A tooltip will appear with the column description.
Here is what it shows for this column:

"This is how many times the page has been ranked out of the total possible hits. The number of hits is the number of keywords found in the meta keywords of the page multiplied by the number of search engines (three in our case: Google, MSN and Yahoo)"

Let me know if this clears things up.

Best regards,
Cristi

Ok thanks for your answer Cristi.
Beacause nowadays the meta keywords are not useful for search engine and ranking, what do you think of an option to select the keywords to perform ?

Hello,

Selecting the keywords for each domain would be very a tedious task. Imagine if you have 100 domains, and you have to enter the keywords for each of them.

I know that the meta keywords is useless for the search engine, but 90% if the websites out there use it and we only use it to see which keywords are considered important by the author of that website.

Frankly, if it weren't for the meta keywords, the se/keywords hits column wouldn't have even made it in the quality analyzer tool.

Let me know if this clears things up.

Best regards,
Cristi
