Topic: XML reports not running

I ran a scheduled update last night, but none of my XML reports ran. My HTML and XSL reports did, but none of my critical XML reports.

I tried just now to run that report manually, and the dialog box just sat there at 0%, saying Retrieving data to generate report (0% done)

The XML reports ran *yesterday*, on that scheduled run...

I rebooted, and now the XML reports run.

2 questions:

1) why would SOME reports run, and not others?

2) why does AWR crash itself, requiring a reboot? will I have to reboot my server every single time I run AWR? that's a serious stability problem, I can't be rebooting my server every time I need to run an application.

Hi iGods,

Maybe this is because the errors I found in your global.log files. Please send us the "awrse_new.jar" and "awr.jar" files by email, from the location I told you on the AWR forum.
