Advanced Link Manager allows you to have a custom profile for each user so you have the ability to store each user's preferences separately, such as proxy and email server, API keys and all other global settings that are available within the application.

Along with the added security coming from the authentication window, you also have the ability to manage what rights the users have to the stored data.
